"What I Cooked Today" Day 337

Where to begin? After an, arguably, good night's sleep, I worked 8 long hours before racing downtown to meet one of my students early, who didn't show up, then raced back to Wittevrouwen to take my stressed-out cat Manchego to the vet, who, luckily, does not seem to have a chronic heart condition, but who did scare us for a second there (perhaps he's starting to look like his mom). Oh, and in between the racing back and fro, a car hit me. It came out of nowhere and hit me on my left knee. The man was nice enough about it and told me "not to look at the car, look at YOU!" So yeah. That was my day. More patties for dinner.
