Today was another day that I spent home alone. Like every Wednesday I had to work the long shift today and the weather was just horrible: it changed from sunlight and blue skies to pouring rain and back again more times than I care to remember, especially since I ended up soaking wet twice because of it. So, after work I decided to make a quick stop at the deli down the street and bought myself a small portion of sauerkraut with potatoes, salmon and bacon. The salmon seemed a little weird, but overall I really enjoyed this warm, wintery dish. It made me yearn for Brussel sprouts!
