"What I Cooked Today" Day 20

After a week of mishaps, Jochem and I finally did some decent cooking today. In line with the season, we cooked a meal with broad beans. We used them in combination with a variety of fresh spices and lemon zest to make homemade falafel. We had the falafel on toasted bread with lettuce, spring onion and homemade yogurt with spicy olive oil, lemon juice and mint. We also added homemade fries, including the skin, which makes for the best fries in my opinion, and, of course, mayonaise. The falafel was absolutely delicious - crispy and spicy on the outside, and fresh and green on the inside.
